na qualità tanto importante quanto indiscutibile che
caratterizza lo Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof è senza
dubbio la sua location. Difcilmente un hotel potrebbe
essere infatti più centrale sia per il business che per lo shopping
oferti dalla città. Testimone d’eleganza e sobrietà, lo storico hotel,
aperto nel 1876, si caratterizzò subito per l’imponenza del nuovo
edifcio costruito dagli architetti Mylius e Bluntschli divenendo
presto un modello di riferimento per i Grand Hotel europei.
Inconfondibile è, ancor oggi, la facciata neoclassica solcata dal
decorativo portico colonnato che separa la terrazza interna dalla
Kaiserplatz.

creazioni dello chef Patrick Bittner che seguono, con successo,
la strada dettata dall’alta cucina francese. Una scelta più informale,
ma sempre di qualità, la permette invece il Café-Bar-Restaurant
Oscar*S. Le attenzioni ai piaceri della tavola si concludono nel
ristorante giapponese Iroha.

continua a vivere senza aver perso nulla della sua autenticità.
A
quality - as important as it is unequivocal - which
characterises the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof is
doubtlessly its location. A hotel could hardly be more
central, in fact, for both the business and shopping ofered
by the city.
Witness to elegance and sobriety, the historical hotel - opened
in 1876 - was immediately characterised by its imposing new
structure, built by the architects Mylius and Bluntschili, quickly
becoming a reference model for European Grand Hotels. The
neoclassical façade with its decorative columned portico,
separating the interior terrace from the Kaiserplatz is still today
unmistakable. The Frankfurter Hof adds to its historical traits, next
tospaciousmodernrooms, several commonspaces, amongwhich
the original Book Lounge: a cosy ambience where one can spend
pleasant moments of relaxation in a small and tranquil library.
Restaurant Français, a prize-winning gourmet restaurant has
selected the Frankfurter Hof as its residence. Its strong points
are the creations of chef Patrick Bittner, who successfully follow
the route of the so-called French haute cuisine. A more informal
choice, yet still of quality, is, instead, the Café-Bar-Restaurant
Oscar*S. The attention for culinary pleasures concludes in the
Japanese restaurant Iroha.
At the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof, the spirit of the Grand
Hotel continues to live without having lost any of its authenticity.
