no spazio vivo, vibrante è l’hotel Des Indes di Den Haag
(The Hague). L’Hotel, una tappa storica della grande
ospitalità europea, è, dal 1881, un punto d’incontro
internazionale in una città non priva di sorprese. La lounge è il
faro che guida l’ospite. Un’esperienza in sé con le sue sofsticate
forme architettoniche giocate sulla circolarità, i colori caldi
e la serenità formale: il luogo perfetto per un drink o un tè
pomeridiano.
Il nuovo destino del Des Indes si realizza grazie al tocco
francese impresso dall’interior design Jacques Garcia. Gli
ambienti storici del Des Indes si accordano infatti perfettamente
con lo stile contemporaneo attento ai dettagli e agli elementi
unici. Un design classico emoderno allo stesso tempo capace sia
di rispettare la storia dell’edifcio che di delinearne dolcemente
il futuro.
L’atmosfera speciale del Des Indes non si dirada nelle camere e
suite. Qui la nobiltà dei materiali unita alla ricercatezza, che non
dimentica però di spargere tratti di semplicità, rivela l’essenza
dell’eleganza, e della comodità, senza dimenticare di valorizzare
i richiami della storia.
Qualità degli ingredienti e infuenza francese non sarebbero
sufcienti a fare del ristorante un rifugio della gastronomia se
non ci fosse l’impegno costante dell’executive chef Remco
Biesma. Lo chef gioca abilmente con i sapori perpetuando la
linea dell’alta qualità creata in associazione con Michel Rostang.
Il Des Indes, con la sua splendida architettura, è una perla
dell’ospitalità: l’ambiente ideale per incontrarsi prendendosi
però tutto il tempo necessario per adattarsi al suo ritmo.

otel Des Indes inDen Haag (The Hague) is a lively vibrant
space. The Hotel, a historic stage in grand European
hospitality, is, since 1881, an international meeting
point in a city not without surprises. The lounge is the guests’
guiding light. An experience itself with its sophisticated
architectural forms, playing with circularity, warm colours and
formal serenity - the perfect place for a drink or an afternoon
tea.
The new destiny of Des Indes is realised thanks to the
French touch of interior designer Jacques Garcia. The historic
spaces of Des Indes agree perfectly with the attentive
contemporary style in their details and unique elements. A
classic and modern design and, at the same time, one capable
of respecting the history of the edifce and gently shaping its
future.
The special atmosphere of Des Indes does not relent in the
rooms and suites. Here the nobility of the materials joined
with refnement - which nonetheless does not forget to spread
traces of simplicity - reveals the essence of elegance and
comfort without forgetting to highlight the signs of history.
The quality of the ingredients and French infuence would
not be enough to render the restaurant a refuge of gastronomy
if it were not for the constant toil of executive chef Remco
Biesma. The chef skilfully plays with favours, perpetuating the
line of high quality created in association with Michel Rostang.
Des Indes, with its splendid architecture, is a pearl of
hospitality: the ideal ambience for meeting, however, with all
the time necessary to adapt to its rhythm.
