a cornice è quella di un’antica villa del 1400 attorniata dai
rigogliosi vigneti della Valpolicella e da un meraviglioso parco
con piscina. Uno scrigno in cui l’arch. Alessandro Medini e
l’inconfondibile marchio Byblos hanno saputo amalgamare in un
equilibrio perfetto moda, design ed una collezione d’arte moderna
del valore di 15 milioni di euro. La hall, le suite e le 49 camere tutte
diferenti tra loro, sono arredate in un tripudio di colori con mobili,
lampadeepezziunici rigorosamented’autoreche invitanoascoprire
e rifettere. Persino in cantina troneggianodue sculture in terracotta
di Mimmo Paladino ispirate ai popoli primordiali, moderni totem
custodi delle oltre 200 pregiate
etichette.
Nel ristorante Atelier
la
provocazione si accompagna
ai piaceri gourmet. Le celebri
fotografe delle diafane modelle
di Vanessa Beecroft ricordano
all’ospite i rischi delle diete troppo
ferreee lo invitanoa lasciarsi tentare
senza rimorsi dagli accattivanti
abbinamenti del Restaurant
Manager Simone Sartorelli. Uno
squisito Carnaroli ai porcini e
scampi, Soave come il vino che lo
accompagnava ed un tenerissimo
fletto di fassone all’Amarone
esaltato da un eccellente Valpolicella Ripasso meritano senza
dubbio il peccato di gola.
Nei sotterranei della villa si trova la spa Espace Byblos. Al centro,
come nelle antiche dimore patrizie, l’impluvium, oggi ripensato
come grande vasca idromassaggio. In questo angolo intimo ed
accogliente è possibile abbandonarsi sui lettini riscaldati, avvolti
dalle luci sofuse della cromoterapia, oppure farsi coccolare da un
massaggio rilassante. Il tocco vellutato delle terapiste vi farà capire
che aVilla Amistà l’arte non è tutto.

he setting is that of a villa from the 1400s, surrounded by
the luxuriant vineyards of Valpolicella and a marvelous
park with a pool. A jewel box in which architect
Alessandro Medini and the unmistakable brand Byblos have
amalgamated - in perfect equilibrium - fashion, design and a
collectionofmodernartworth15millioneuros. The lobby, the
suites and the 49 rooms, all diferent one from the other, are
furnished in a blaze of colours with furninshings, lamps and
unique, decidedly designer pieces that invite one to discover
and refect. Even in the cellar two terracotta sculptures by
Mimmo Paladino dominate the space, inspired
by primitive peoples, modern totems guarding
the over 200 prestigious labels.
In the restaurant Atelier, provocation
accompanies gourmet pleasures. The
celebrated photographs of the diaphanous
models of Vanessa Beecroft remind guests of
the risks of dietswhich are too robust and invite
them to permit themselves to be tempted by -
without remorse - thecaptivatingcombinations
of Restaurant Manager Simone Sartorelli. An
exquisite Carnaroli with porcini mushrooms
and shrimps, Soave as the accompanying wine
and a very tender fassone flet with Amarone
exalted by an excellent Valpolicella Ripasso
doubtlessly deserve the sin of gluttony.
In the cellars of the villa we fnd the Espace Byblos Spa. In
the centre - as was seen in the ancient aristocratic abodes -
the impluvium, today used as a large hydro-massage tub. In
this intimate and welcoming corner it is possible to abandon
oneself on heated sunbeds, bathed in the soft lights of
chomotherapy, or have a relaxing massage. The velvet touch
of the therapistwill help you tounderstand that atVillaAmistà
art is not everything.
